As LGBTQIA characters have become gradually more mainstream, especially in comics, and more than just stereotypical villains or throwaway gimmick characters, they have finally begun to become actual flesh and blood characters in their own right. This weeks next pick...   Many of my favorite indie comics lately have come from Boom Studios. Once and Future, Eve and The Last Witch among them. The latest is a new horror tale called Basilisk, written by superstar writer Cullen Bunn. This weeks Picks...   I am a huge horror fan. So much so, I have an annual tradition of watching as many horror movies as I can between September 1st and Halloween. I called it “Septober.” Get it?
